Light for All Canada organizes annual community outreach campaigns to support underserved and vulnerable individuals and families across Canada. Through the dedication of our volunteers and partners, we provide meals, essential supplies, and meaningful support that foster hope, dignity, and a stronger sense of community.
Fill a Plate. Warm a Heart.
We serve meals to more than 500 individuals across Toronto, Hamilton, and Edmonton. Approximately 75 volunteers come together to give back to their communities.
From the kitchen to the final delivery, every volunteer experiences the joy and fulfillment of serving others and bringing smiles to people’s faces on Thanksgiving Day. Together, we transform a simple meal into a message of hope, kindness, and belonging.

Through the LFA Feeding Program, Light for All Canada provides nutritious meals, compassion, and meaningful human connection to vulnerable individuals and families at two locations in Mississauga.
Every two weeks, the program serves 140 nutritious, home-cooked, four-course dinners to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, financial hardship, housing challenges, and social isolation.
But this program is about more than a meal. Each dinner creates a welcoming space where volunteers sit with participants, share conversations, offer fellowship, and build genuine personal connections. For those experiencing isolation and hardship, these moments of dignity, friendship, and belonging can be just as meaningful as the food itself.

Food insecurity continues to rise across Ontario as families struggle with increasing housing costs, inflation, and the rising price of groceries. Many seniors, newcomers, individuals experiencing homelessness, and low-income families are forced to choose between purchasing food and meeting other essential needs.
Light for All Canada, in partnership with a Canadian organization, launched an initiative to serve four nutritious meals and distribute monthly grocery bags containing essential food staples to help families stretch their budgets and improve household food security.
Our dedicated volunteers will work together to prepare, package, and distribute meals to individuals and families in need.
We aim to provide 20,000 nutritious meals annually and expand our grocery assistance program to reach hundreds of vulnerable households.
A Gift of Warmth. A Season of Joy.
Winters in Canada can be harsh, particularly for individuals experiencing homelessness or financial hardship. As part of our annual community outreach, Light for All Canada purchases, packs, and distributes more than 3,000 thermal kits every December to vulnerable individuals across Hamilton, Guelph, Brampton, London, Toronto, Milton, Burlington, Ottawa, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Montreal.
Approximately 150 volunteers come together each year to prepare and distribute the kits, helping protect those in need from Canada’s severe winter conditions. As volunteers experience the cold firsthand during distribution, they gain a deeper appreciation of the challenges faced by vulnerable community members. Bringing warmth, comfort, and hope to others is a deeply rewarding experience that reflects our commitment to serving with compassion and dignity.
Care with Dignity. Compassion in Action.
Light for All Canada prepares and distributes approximately 1,000 dignity kits each year to individuals and families in need across Hamilton and Toronto. Around 85 volunteers come together to assemble and distribute the kits, demonstrating compassion and a shared commitment to serving their communities.
Beyond providing essential hygiene products, we promote health and hygiene awareness as a core pillar of our community outreach. By helping individuals maintain their health, dignity, and well-being, we empower them to live with greater confidence and hope.
