Light for All Canada (LFA Canada) is a Canadian registered charity founded in 2013. Guided by a deep belief in equity, a commitment to giving back and the passion of our founders, we have grown into a trusted partner for communities both locally and globally. Rooted in Canadian values of equal human rights, respect and inclusivity, our journey began in Egypt with small, meaningful steps. Over the years, our mission has deepened, and our reach has expanded across borders, into Africa and Asia.

Our mission is to empower individuals from all walks of life. Through quality education, accessible healthcare and targeted pathways of empowerment for women and young girls, we help create environments where every person can shine at their fullest potential. By partnering with local communities and embracing innovative, sustainable solutions, we aim to spark change that resonates for generations.

2013
A Seed is Planted

A group of dedicated founders established Light for All Canada (LFA Canada) driven by a shared vision to give back to communities and they together laid the groundwork for future humanitarian programs.

2016
Years of Steady Expansion

Strengthened programs in children education and healthcare

  • Built strong local partnerships across Egypt

COVID-19
Rising Through Crisis - Egypt

  • LFA Canada launched urgent response efforts in Egypt

  • Distributed monthly food kits to 1,815 families who lost their source of income during the pandemic

  • It was a defining moment that tested our mission—and strengthened it

2022
Local Growth and Global Expansion

LFA’s impact expanded both in depth and geography.

  • Launched child development and girls’ education programs at El Khatatba plantation in Egypt
  • Supported, our partner Little Flock, in its Life Together program for children with mental disabilities
  • Expanded to 5 new countries: Burundi, Ghana, Indonesia, Mauritius, and the Philippines
  • Delivered global programs in women empowerment, youth education, food aid, healthcare, and vocational training
2023
Scaling Healthcare and Rebuilding Lives
  • Established hospitals, expanded Hemodialysis Unit, opened polyclinics, and launched a Renal Dialysis Center in Egypt
  • Reached out to Hong Kong with educational programs, food aid, and women’s empowerment
  • One of our most impactful initiatives in Hong Kong was the restoration of homes and provision of essential furniture through the Roof and Bed Program
  • Continued focus on healthcare, vocational training, and community development worldwide
2024
Egypt
New Heights with Transformative Growth
  • Deepened our partnership with Little Flock, through supporting Brighter Future program with 114 youth trained at Don Bosco; some now work locally and abroad, others became entrepreneurs or institute staff
  • 10 graduates traveled to Italy and Germany for work and education
  • Established Hemodialysis Unit and NICU through partnership with Egypt Without Disease
Global Impact
New Heights with Transformative Growth
  • Burundi: Began building a tech-focused school to serve 300 students yearly
  • Mauritius: Reached 200 youth through Little Stars, Good Better Best, and Coach programs
  • Ghana: Ran education, food, digital skills, and women’s vocational training programs
  • Indonesia: Served 1,000+ through hunger relief, orphanage care, and educational centers
  • Philippines: Supported 6,250 beneficiaries via children and family empowerment, tech education, and school awareness programs
2025

Deepening Roots and Expanding Reach
  • LFA expanded partnerships focused on children’s well-being, education, and life skills
  • Launched volunteer trips to support children’s programs
  • Continued medical support through partnership with Egypt Without Disease
Global Impact
Deepening Roots and Expanding Reach

  • Started new community support in Uganda, through launching vocational training in sewing, digital literacy, and language skills

  • Now LFA operates in 7 countries across Africa and Asia
