Did you know that there are 360 million people around the world suffering from hearing loss? Out of those, 36 million are kids. Did you know that there are 5 million Egyptians with a hearing disability? We are pleased to announce our fundraising campaign for this month.

 

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 80 % of people with hearing loss live in low to mid-income countries and the majority of people with hearing loss do not have access to hearing interventions.

The Hear & Cheer initiative provides hearing aids for those who are unable to afford it. The cost of one hearing aid per adult is around $350. For kids, however, it is more expensive, costing $500.

طبقا لمنظمة الصحة العالمية فإن 80٪ من الأشخاص الذين يعانون من ضعف السمع يعيشون في البلدان منخفضة ومتوسطة الدخل، ومعظم الأشخاص الذين يعانون من ضعف السمع لا يمكنهم الحصول على السماعات

تبلغ تكلفة  السماعة للبالغ حوالي 350 دولارًا للفرد، بينما تبلغ 500 دولار للطفل.

تهدف مبادرة “اسمع و افرح” لجمع التبرعات لشراء سماعات لمن لا يستطيعون تحمل تكلفتها.
